5/6 A
1. Bishop Guilfoyle 6-0 Cambria Heights
Bishop Guilfoyle went into Forest Hills and walked away with a 45-8 victory over the Rangers. BG may have had to work for this one a little harder than in previous weeks, but make no mistake about it, they won this one no problem. The Marauders should be moving to 7-0 this week as they take on 1-5 Cambria Heights.
2. Portage 6-0 Conemaugh Township
Portage easily took care of Ferndale last week as they scored all 47 of their points in the first half in a 47-0 win. The Mustangs take on a reeling Conemaugh Township squad coming off three straight losses this week. Portage should be able to make the move to 7-0.
3. Blairsville 6-0 @ Penns Manor
Some may have been expecting a close game between two 5-0 teams, but Blairsville obviously had other ideas when they met up with Homer-Center last week. The Bobcats ran in a runaway 41-6 over the defending Heritage Conference champions. Another test awaits on Friday, as Blairsville heads to Clymer to take on 5-1 Penns Manor.
4. Meyersdale 6-0 @ Berlin
Meyersdale is off to a 6-0 start and is coming off a sound 21-0 win against Windber. They make the short trip to Berlin to take on a very good Mountaineers team. The two squads played in two classic games last year, and this meeting has a lot to live up to.
5. Bellwood-Antis 4-2 @ Southern Huntingdon
I move Bellwood back into the rankings by virtue of their 23-14 win over a solid Everett team. The Blue Devils may have two losses, but they are to the two best AA teams in the area. When it comes to single A ball, Bellwood can hang with anyone.
5/6 AA
1. Tyrone 6-0 Clearfield
Tyrone has been rolling lately after some close early season games. The Golden Eagles will be tested a little more this week when Clearfield invades Grey-Vets Memorial Field. Clearfield isn't as good as they were last year, but they are still one of the better teams the Mountain League has to offer.
2. Mt. Union 6-0 Everett
Mt. Union racked up 27 points in the first quarter, and cruised to a 38-7 win over the Panthers. They will host a solid Everett team this week, but with the way this offense has been running, it's hard to picture that game staying close. The Trojans have been playing with a chip on their shoulder, and it's been showing.
3. Bedford 5-1 Richland
Bedford crushed Bishop McCort on Saturday for their third consecutive win. The Bison have been one of the area's most powerful offenses, and they picked apart another defense this past week. Richland will take their turn to try to slow down Bedford on Friday, but I don't see it happening.
4. Chestnut Ridge 5-1 St. Joseph's Academy
Chestnut Ridge leapfrogs Central by virtue of beating the Dragons 15-12. Ridge is a team that is flying under the radar, but they can really play. They will easily move to 6-1 over St. Joe's this week.
5. Central 4-2 Philipsburg-Osceola
Central stays in the rankings despite the loss. They are a really good team, and they have been through some very tough games already. The schedule eases up a bit down the stretch, and Central should be one of the higher ranked teams in the D6 AA playoffs.

5/6/8/9 AAA
1. Somerset 6-0 Bishop McCort
Somerset started the year by posting 40+ points in their first three games, the past three games they have posted 50 or more a game. This team is a machine, and McCort won't be able to slow them down this week. Each passing week gets us closer to the Bishop Guilfoyle Week ten showdown.
2. University Prep 4-0 Allderdice

2. University Prep 4-0 Allderdice
Prep moved to 4-0 last week with a win over Carrick, they will take on Taylor Allderdice this week. UP's Quarterback, Ron Brown, is one of the state's most prolific passers.
3. Johnstown 4-2 Westmont
After two really tough defeats, Johnstown got back on the winning track with a 15-7 win over Richland. The win helps bring some confidence back, and was a confidence booster for a struggling defense that gave up 50 points in each of the past two weeks.
