The Scoop - Tussey Mountain had one of their best seasons in school history last year, and Daniel Taylor was one of the big reasons why. The senior back was a part of a two-headed rushing monster last season with Darrin Sipes, but it will be all Taylor this season with Sipes having graduated. Topping a 1,400 yard 21 touchdown season will be tough, but Taylor will have every opportunity to do so. Taylor has good hands and is a complete offensive force Tussey can ride deep into the postseason. Not only can he play offense, Taylor came up with 3 picks and 9 pass deflections at corner last season and is one of the better defensive backs in the ICC. The Titans are the defending champions, and with a guy like Taylor a repeat is in the cards. They will be tested early with a game against defending District Six AA champions Central in week one.
